The countdown is on! The vibrant town of Kiltimagh, Co. Mayo is gearing up for another unforgettable week as the Coillte Come Home Festival returns from 9th–14th July 2025.
This year’s festival is jam-packed with something for everyone – whether you’re a music lover, adventure seeker, pub quiz whiz, or just after some good old-fashioned family fun.
Here’s what you can expect over six incredible days:
🎭 Wednesday 9th July kicks off with the Coillte Come Laugh Comedy Night (now SOLD OUT!), hosted by Karl Spain and featuring top Irish comedians. Later that evening, the official festival launch takes place in the Festival Field with a spectacular fireworks display.
🎤 Thursday 10th July sees the return of the ever-popular Busking Competition and the legendary Interpub Quiz – choose your local and cheer them to victory!
🎶 Friday 11th & Saturday 12th July bring Live on Main Street, with music from the Busking Winner, Highstool Prophets, Kojak, and Ruaile Buaile. Expect dancing in the streets and a mighty atmosphere all weekend long.
🏃♀️ Race2Glory, the town’s adventure race, takes off on Saturday morning, drawing runners and cyclists from near and far.
🎉 Sunday 13th July is Family Fun Day, featuring the Kiddie Tractor Run, free amusements, obstacle courses, and novelty races – all set in the Festival Field, with thanks to Kiltimagh Tourism Association.
🎯 We wrap up the festival on Monday 14th July with the Coillte Cup Golf Tournament, Pint ‘n’ Putt, and Velorail excursions to finish on a high.
