The spirit of Kiltimagh was alive and kicking last Friday night as locals and visitors gathered in Teach O’Hora for a special event that lit the first spark of summer – the official Launch Night of the Coillte Come Home Festival 2025.
In a packed house full of laughter, music, and anticipation, this vibrant evening marked the beginning of what promises to be the most exciting Coillte Come Home Festival yet, running from 9th–14th July 2025.
In Conjunction with Mayo Day 2025
Coinciding with Mayo Day 2025, the launch was more than just a party – it was a celebration of local pride, community connection, and homecoming. From the moment the doors opened, the room buzzed with that unmistakable Coillte energy.
The King of the Coilltes Takes the Stage
One of the most memorable moments of the night was the appearance of the one and only Tulip Walsh – King of the Coilltes – who officially launched the festival with a few heartfelt words (and more than a few laughs). His charm, wit, and unwavering pride in Kiltimagh set the perfect tone for what’s to come this July.
Sneak Peek: Festival Promo Video Unveiled
Attendees were treated to an exclusive first look at the Coillte Come Home 2025 promotional video, showcasing the colour, music, and magic that await festival-goers this summer. With footage from past celebrations and glimpses of what’s ahead, the video was met with cheers and a round of applause – setting the stage for six days of unforgettable moments.
